"Sleepy Hollow" has got the attention of the viewers as it is raking in high numbers. It is one of the successful new series in the television world along with "The Blacklist." Fox has renewed "Sleepy Hollow" for the second season, which will comprise of 13 episodes like the first season.

"Sleepy Hollow" is a loose adaption of Washington Irving's famous short story "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow." Ichabod Crane (Tom Mison) is a man who belongs to the 17th century and he wakes-up in the 21 century in the Village of Sleepy Hollow. Mr Crane and Lt. Abbie Mills (Nicole Beharie) team-up to solve unnatural, unexplainable events that are taking place in Sleepy Hollow. There is a headless horse rider who carried is also one of the principal charcter along with Mr Crane's witch wife Katrina. And, there is always the danger of Horsemen of the Apocalypse.

In episode of five of "Sleepy Hollow," "John Doe," a mysterious child, speaking the language of the middle-ages, appear. He is carrying a disease unknown to the modern science. The child's veins start turning black and soon people of the Sleepy Hollow complain about the same. The veins of Mr Ichabod also turn black and he thinks that it is a plague that will consume Sleepy Hollow, soon. He transports himself to the colony of Roanoke, which was lost from the map of the world in 1500 as the kid belongs to that lost era. In this episode, there is the fear of Horseman of Pestilence coming to Sleepy Hollow and moving to other parts if the spread of the plague that turns the veins black is not stopped. Abbie and Mr Crane are able to fix the situation. However, the fear of Horsemen of Death still lingers.

One will have to wait for some time to know what will happen next. "Sleepy Hollow" has taken a break of three weeks. It is slated to return on November 03, 2013.

"I can't wait for fans to experience what else is in store for this fall and even more of this wild ride into Season 2."
