Rejoice men of the world! One of the hottest girls in Hollywood is moving to the Splitsville.

The star of the Modern Family TV series has called it quits with long-term beau, Nick Loeb, according to reports. Rumor mills started to whir when she was spotted alone at the Met Gala. It was at the event where she confirmed with close friends about her breakup with Loeb.

The 39-year old Columbian star's relationship had been on shaky waters and they had been fighting a lot, according to Page Six. A source reportedly told Page Six: "Sofia was confiding in friends at the ball that she and Nick have split.

"They have been fighting a lot recently and have been on the brink of splitting many times. It is not yet clear if they are over for good, but they are done as a couple for now," the source said.

Sofia and Nick met in 2010 at a Golden Globes party. Nick Loeb is the son of John Loeb Jr., who served as ambassador to Denmark during the President Reagan's term. Nick Loeb once considered running for the Florida State senate last year. The couple was last seen together at the 2012 White House Correspondents Dinner in Washington D.C. The two were photographed being sweet together.

According to another source, the relationship hit the rocks apparently because of Sofia's popularity. Aside from Modern Family, Sofia has also appeared in movies such as The Smurfs, Puss in Boots, New Year's Eve, and Happy Feet Two.

Vergara had recently appeared in her first starring role, The Three Stooges, shown this April. Sofia Vergara has also appeared in many magazines and TV commercials.

Sofia Vergara already has a son from a previous relationship. Her son, Manolo Gonzales-Ripoll Vergara, was born on 1992, when Sofia was 20 years old.
