The nasty scuffle that ensued between Jay Z and Solange Knowles, the younger sister of Beyonce, has been making rounds all over the internet. Caught on camera, the leaked video shows a physically violent Solange Knowles attacking the music mogul relentless -- even as a body guard tried to intervene during the scuffle.

The incident happened after the prestigious MET Gala, where both Beyonce, together with her hubby Jay Z and Solange attended. The elevator video, which shows Solange throwing punches and kicks at the rapper happened after the MET Gala at the Standard Hotel in New York. Jay Z tries to stop the onslaughts of physical violence from Solange by grabbing her foot -- which consequently further angered the younger sister of Bey.

Surprisingly, Beyonce, who was also in the near the scene, acted motionless; she seemed unfazed by the scuffle that was happening between her husband and her younger sister. Neither did Beyonce do anything in her will to halt the physical assault that was engendered by her younger sister toward her rapper husband Jay Z.

According to Jezebel, one plausible reason as to why Solange Knowles might have snapped includes Jay Z' relentless cheating escapades against Beyonce. The infidelity issue that drove Solange berserk has a large likelihood to be true -- which is why Beyonce seemed unwitting to stop the fight that ensued. Other reasons include Solange being drunk during the scuffle.

After the physical assault, Beyonce, Jay Z and Solange try to make their way out of the hotel. Solange is pictured to be not in a good mood whereas the "Drunk in Love" singer tries to put on a brave smile while getting into a same chauffeured car with her younger sister.

Meanwhile, Beyonce posted a cryptic photo in her Instagram account after the brawl between her sister and her husband Jay Z. The photo was a prayer that wished for better 'relationships'. Could it be a message for Solange Knowles and her husband Jay Z?

The Knowles have yet to comment about the altercation that happened between Solange and Jay Z.
