"The Walking Dead" is more than a zombie-kill fest or cast members going all nuts about killing people and walkers. AMC is informing Emmy voters that "TWD" is not just a gore show, but also showcases human emotions. According to The Hollywood Reporter, AMC is using the campaign to promote the show's focus on humanity.

The posters bring out the emotional moments from "The Walking Dead" Season 4 with the tagline - 'Something Human'.

"We've always said that The Walking Dead is a character drama that asks and explores some very fundamental questions -- what does it mean to survive and how do you hold onto your humanity amidst all these really terrible things happening? This Emmy campaign focuses on those powerful, emotional moments and performances that underscore these very questions," says Linda Schupack, AMC exec VP marketing to The Hollywood Reporter.

"For the campaign, we wanted to remind Emmy voters of both the beauty of the actors' performances and the powerful story lines that motivated them," adds Linda.

In one of the posters, Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus) sits next to his friend Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln). Another poster showcases the iconic flower scene featuring Carol Peletier (Melissa McBride). Hershel Greene (Scott Wilson) and Glenn Rhee (Steven Yeun) showcase a family in the zombie-infested world. Meanwhile, another poster reminds people of Glenn and Maggie Greene's (Lauren Cohan) emotional reunion in the second half of "The Walking Dead" Season 4.

The bad guy - Governor (David Morrissey) stands in front of a burning Woodbury home. He destroyed Woodbury only to start a new family and finally his faceoff with Rick in "The Walking Dead" Season 4, Episode 8.

Recently, showrunner Scott Gimple tweeted about the first episode of Season 5.
