Taylor Swift is rumoured to be involved in a romance with Jake Gyllenhaal as the two Hollywood celebrities were seen together last weekend in New York City.

According to reports in the media, Swift brought Gyllenhaal to the set of SNL as she visited her friend Emma Stone. But the two appeared to be discreet if there's any romance at all between them.

"They were careful not to be seen too close. It was hard to tell if they were together, but everyone was shocked that she brought him," says a source quoted by Perez Hilton.

The two were also spotted in Brooklyn having breakfast and walking in Park Slope. Age doesn't seem an issue with Swift, as she was previously linked to a much older hunk John Mayer. Gyllenhaal is turning 30 while Taylor Swift will turn 21 later this year. Interestingly, both were born on the month of December. Gyllenhall split with Reese Witherspoon late last year, while Taylor Swift was last rumured to be dating Taylor Lautner (Swift has an apology song in her new album Speak Now, entitled Back to December, which is widely speculated to be dedicated to the Twilight star.).

In light of Swift's recent antic to sing about past romances, will we be hearing any song about Jake Gyllenhall in the future? Well, that's a bit premature but something that Taylor Swift's fan would look forward to hearing.
