'Sons of Anarchy' Charlie Hunnam Leaves Hotel with 'Pirates of the Caribbean' Actress, Mystery Girl Unveiled
"Sons of Anarchy" lead star Charlie Hunnam was recently spotted leaving a hotel with a mystery girl wearing a baseball cap, and it turns out that she's the mermaid Syrena in "Pirates of the Caribbean," Astrid Berges-Frisbey. The two stars were photographed leaving a hotel in the Soho neighbourhood of London on Tuesday, Aug. 12.
Best known for his role as Jax Teller in the FX biker drama, Hunnam is super discreet when it comes to his private life and seeing him with a different woman other than his girlfriend Morgana McNelis fuelled a lot of speculations. The 34-year-old actor talked about his girlfriend for six years at a press conference back in June and was spotted together over a week ago at the Boot Bash event.
The lovely couple maintained a low profile lifestyle, away from the public scrutiny and were content to spend their time in their ranch in California. ""None of that c**p interests me at all, and actually, my girlfriend and I just bought a ranch, so we are getting out of Hollywood completely," revealed the "Crimson Peak" star in an interview.
Known for her role as Syrena, the mysterious mermaid who fell in love with the missionary, Philip Swift, Astrid's movie debut was in the fourth installment of the "Pirate" series, "On Stranger Tides." The Franco-Spanish actress got her first Hollywood role after a whirlwind audition in France, Hollywood, and the UK where she was handpicked by director Rob Marshall and producer Jerry Bruckheimer.
The 28-year-old beauty learned how to speak in English during her role in the Disney film and was restricted from going out in daylight to keep her skin pale for her role as a mermaid. Astrid's latest project is the movie "I Origins" where she plays the role of Sofi, a girl with a very interesting eyes who fell in love with the lead character.
Meanwhile, Hunnam is currently filming his last season with "Sons of Anarchy" and is scheduled to reprise his role as Raleigh Becket in the sequel of "Pacific Rim." SOA season 7 is set to kick off on Sept. 7 for its fall premiere.
