‘Sons of Anarchy' Kurt Sutter Sends His Good Luck to SOA Cast & Crew, Production Officially Begins
FX "Sons of Anarchy" is officially back as production begins on Wednesday for the show's seventh and final season. Showrunner Kurt Sutter posted on Twitter his good luck message to SOA cast and crew, and even give out a few spoilers on his recent video blog "WTFSutter" that he is done casting a major role that will join the cast for eight or more episodes.
The filming of the highly anticipated biker series will start the countdown for the show's season 7 fall premiere and will pick up after season 6 bloody murder, Tara's death. Sutter also announced via his Web site that that he will meet up with the show's lead star Charlie Hunnam to talk about Jax's emotional journey now that they have to begin the new season without Tara and how he will deal the death of his wife.
"We have lots of discussion before this season begins but he has the first two scripts now so will sit down and sorta have a Jax emotional part of discussion which is always fun," Sutter revealed on his video posted on sutterink.com. "It's kinda like my favorite part of the season, its having that chat with Charlie."
He also revealed that the show's a few episodes of the show are now ready and in the process of breaking episode 7, which according to Sutter is one of the most important episodes in SOA finale. The controversial writer even said that it's going to be a big one, so fans of the show have to watch for many big moments for show's last season.
"We are in the process of breaking episode 7, which is usually a big episode for us," said the "Southpaw" writer. "It's sort of, it ends up being a, the same way a premiere sets in motion the bigger elements of the season, episode 7 tends to bring some of those things to some sort of conclusion then sets up what will ultimately be some of the bigger story elements that will bring us into the end of the season."
"Sons of Anarchy" season 7 will return to FX in September. Charlie Hunnam will reprise his role as Jax Teller, Katey Sagal as Gemma Teller and the rest of SAMCRO's lead star.
