"Sons of Anarchy" season 7 production officially opens featuring lead star Charlie Hunnam for the show's final season promo. Photos of the actor flooded the net during the SOA promo shoot when FX's Vice President of Media Relations Dominic Pagone posted the snaps on his Twitter account.

Featuring the clean shaven "Pacific Rim" actor, Hunnam is back in Charming without his usual biker scruff as he reprise his role as SAMCRO's president Jackson "Jax" Teller. Now on its seventh and final season, "Sons of Anarchy" season 7 is scheduled to premiere in September as it features the aftermath of Tara's death.

Fans couldn't help to speculate about Charlie's new look but Pagone is quick to remind fans that the scenes are just for promotional purposes. "Night shoot. @SonsofAnarchy. A bit cold. Delirious. Here comes season 7," Pagone wrote on his first tweet featuring the "Crimson Peak" actor keeping his Dr. McMicheal look but now wearing a leather vest.

"Last night was the first of 2 promo shoots; this was just with Charlie. I'll tease a few shots, but remember ... So don't over-analyze the photos, don't speculate; just get excited for the start of season 7!" he added later. The snaps show Charlie reading a script in front of the camera and riding his Harley as tries to stay warm with his hooded jacket. The FX executive also revealed that the next shoot will be in a few weeks so fans have to watch for more behind the scenes pictures of the SOA cast.

Based on Kurt Sutter's video blog WTF Sutter, SOA season 7 will feature a new character including a new female sheriff and jail guard. He also revealed that "Sons" rival gang the Mayan and Marcus Alvarez played by Emilion Rivera will return for the show's season finale.

Fresh from his thriller movie shoot with Guillermo del Toro, the 33-year-old actor was spotted in Hamilton while filming some of the scenes with "Thor's" star Tom Hiddleston and "Alice in Wonderland" star Mis Wasikowska. The British hunk will play as a doctor who is in love with Mia's character Edith Cushing who discovered that her husband is not what he appears to be.
