Vowing vengeance for his wife's brutal death, "Sons of Anarchy" lead star Charlie Hunnam is back to reprise his famous biker role as Jax Teller for the show's final season. Now taking his final ride with SAMCRO, Jax is surrounded with people he can't trust and left only with a few people he can still count on - including his own mother Gemma, played by Katey Sagal, who repeatedly stabbed a fork in his wife's head.

"Sons of Anarchy" season 7, episode 1 opens 10 days after Tara's brutal death with Jax in prison, featuring him punching a guy's face repeatedly on the floor of a bathroom. Thanks to Gemma's misguided killing of Tara, her son is now on the brink of madness as he carves a swastika into the man's stomach with the help of his prison allies, and then walks away after he pulled his teeth out.

More violent and ruthless than ever, Jax's road is leading to a blood bath not just for him but on every single character of the show. "I would say that I know where I want our hero to be emotionally and thematically at the end of the season," series creator Kurt Sutter in an interview posted on MTV News during the panel interview in the 2014 San Diego Comic Con.

"Rather than being the reactor to chaos, (Jax) is the inciter of chaos," he added. "It's like writing a brand new character."

Outside of prison, Juice played by Theo Rossi is in total isolation as the opening montage features him butt naked without his signature haircut. More alone than ever, Juice found himself on the run when he helped Gemma disposed all the evidence for Tara's death, including killing Charming's sheriff, Eli Roosevelt.

While Gemma is raising his children, Abel and Thomas, Nero played by Jimmy Smiths is building his alliance with SAMCRO's rival, The Mayans. The porn house owner was considered to be Jax's father figure after he killed Clay but now it seems that he is going against the club. Still mourning for her death and for giving Gemma a false information, Wayne Unser was seen visiting Tara's grave.

"Sons of Anarchy" season 7 will kick on Sept. 9 on FX.
