‘Sons of Anarchy’ Season 7: SOA Finale According to Tig & Bobby
Centered on the dark biker drama of an outlaw motorcycle club, FX "Sons of Anarchy" is up for one more season to close Jax Teller's saga. But the show is not known for its happy ending (Remember the season 6 finale?), the reason why if Tig and Bobby could make their own SOA finale they will make it a festive one.
While waiting for season 7's final production actors Mark Boone Jr. and Kim Coates took part on the Parade of Wonders to kick off the Calgary Comic & Entertainment Expo on Friday, April 25. The two stars that play SAMCRO's Tig and Bobby rode with their Harleys and headlined a panel in the Corral after the colorful parade.
Together with the show's newest regular star Drea de Matteo who plays Jax's junkie ex-wife Wendy, the three stars answered a few questions during the interview. "It was a mess," says Coates when asked about how the whole cast learned how to ride Harley Davidson knowing that it's only him and Bobby who know how to ride. "Season 1 and Season 2 were absolutely frightening to watch."
Created by Kurt Sutter, the man behind TV's twisted police drama "The Shield," "Sons of Anarchy" started in 2008 and closed season 6 with a bloody ending. Killing one of the show's most important characters, Tara Knowles' (Maggie Siff) death in the hands of Gemma (Katey Sagal) shocked a lot of fans which made SOA season 7 the most anticipated season of the show.
With so many twists and turns on the hit TV show, Tara's death is one of SOA's jaw dropping moments. Now Jax is left with no wife and lost his "true north," and a motorcycle club that is heading for another disaster, and to face his own mother who murdered his wife.
So when asked what could be their characters ending, Tig and Bobby revealed their idea of happy ending.
"We are going into the Christmas tree business," says Boone. "Seriously, he is playing Santa and I am one of his elves," says Coates agreeing to Boone's idea.
"And that would be the sales pitch. Little advertisements in Charming (where the club is headquartered)," Bonne added. "The Christmas tree business. F. k, that's great!" declared Coates in an interview posited on Calgary Herald.
"Sons of Anarchy" season 7 is scheduled to kick off by September.
