Gearing up for "Sons of Anarchy" seventh and final season, showrunner Kurt Sutter and lead star Charlie Hunnam are discussing Jax's emotional journey as the show opens its final production. Sutter recently revealed on his video blog "WTFSutter" that he and Hunnam are going to meet up for lunch on Monday, June 2, to talk about the gritty biker show.

"We have lots of discussion before this season begins but he has the first two scripts now so will sit down and sorta have a Jax emotional part of discussion which is always fun," says Sutter on his video on May 23 posted on sutterink.com. "It's kinda like my favorite part of the season, its having that chat with Charlie."

SOA season 6 ended with a bloody murder that shocked everyone but knowing the show's history nobody is really safe until the last season. One of TV's shocking murders and finale, Tara's murder in the hands of Gemma will set things in motion for Jax journey and his place in the club.

Thanks to the show's reputation in the past, "Sons of Anarchy" has been building up the past seasons for the show's finale. Now that Jax lost his center, first his best friend Opie and now his wife Tara, will he rise again and keep his loyalty to the club?

"Obviously, it's a major shift in the mythology. I knew, ultimately, where I wanted to take Jax in [the] final season..." Sutter revealed in an interview with TV Line. "I wanted to remove his 'True North,' because I feel like there needs to be this major psychic and emotional shift that has to happen. What direction it will push him in we will see next season."

For a series that thrives on its twists and explicit acts of violence, season 7 will bring more twists and turns as Jax hunts for the person responsible for his wife's death. "The Sopranos" star Drea de Mateo will return to Charming as series regular playing Wendy Cash, Jax's ex-wife.

"Sons of Anarchy" season 7 will return to FX in September.
