"Sons of Anarchy" season 7 production is just around the corner and every tidbit of information is just as valuable as getting a sneak peek for the show's upcoming finale. According to TV Line, Charming is going to welcome a sheriff for SOA season 7, and this time it's not a man who will take care the Californian city but a woman.

After the death of Sheriff Eli Roosevelt (Rockmond Dunbar), Charming is in need of a new sheriff to put the bad guys away and this time she might help Jax find the person behind his wife's brutal death. Killed by Juice to cover up Gemma's crime, Roosevelt walked-in to Gemma while she was killing Tara and Juice had to helped her dispose the evidence including killing the good sheriff.

The spoiler reads: "There'll be a new sheriff in town as the seventh and final season gets underway. (R.I.P., Eli.) The FX series is casting the recurring role of Alice Johnson, a fit, Caucasian 40 something who's serious about her work but also boasts an edgy humor."

Katey Sagal will reprise her role as SAMCRO's matriarch Gemma Teller, and Theo Rossi will return to "Sons of Anarchy" season 7 as Juice Ortiz. Lead star Charlie Hunnam is going to reprise his role as SAMCRO prince Jax Teller, including Jimmy Smits who plays as Nero and Peter Weller as Barosky.

Based on the recent Kurt Sutter's blog, "WTF Sutter," "Glee's" famed director Paris Barclay will direct the final season's first episode. Barclay is one of the regular SOA's directors and has helmed the show's season 4, 5, and 6. He also revealed that episode 2 is ready to go and his team of writers are currently working on episode 3.

"It's nice to know you're satisfying those fans and closing that book and you know there's no better satisfaction than finishing a great book you love," says SOA writer Mike Daniels during an interview on "The Writers' Room" posted on Enstarz.

"And it's nice to be one of the people writing the last chapter with everybody else in that room," he added.

"Sons of Anarchy" Season 7 will return on FX in September.
