‘Sons of Anarchy’ Season 7 Spoilers: Theo Rossi On Juice’s Heightened Reality Of Wanting A Family
One of the most troubled characters in the FX motorcycle drama show "Sons of Anarchy," Juice Ortiz, can't seem to catch a break in the show's final season. Played by Theo Rossi, Juice is trapped in his own world where he made a series of bad choices and is now paying for it by hiding from his own crew.
Still in hiding from SAMCRO and fearing for his life, the tattooed biker will be featured in the upcoming SOA season 7, episode 5, "Smoke 'Em If You Got 'Em." After having an intense meeting with Gemma (Katey Sagal) in the show's previous episode, showrunner Kurt Sutter hinted on his latest interview that Juice will "have a revelation about himself" that explains the journey and the bad decisions that he's been making.
His loneliness and wanting for a family is now driving him to the edge, and like a ticking time bomb, Juice is close to exploding and revealing the darkest secret that he has been keeping. Now as he tries to survive Jax and the police who are hunting him, the latest promo of the show features Juice talking to Alvarez who could be ratting on SAMCRO for survival.
"Juice is not a victim--he's a victim of his own circumstances, but ultimately he makes his own decisions," Rossi revealed on his interview with Entertainment Weekly. "Yes, Jax told him to do certain things, [but he decides to do them] out of love and wanting a family. I think the reason people love him and hate him is because when he makes a decision, you go, 'Oh, don't do that!'"
Fans of the show are already making a lot of predictions on Juice's fate, knowing his involvement in Tara's murder. But knowing that he is a survivor, many fans are saying that he will get to be in the final ride with Sutter and will make it to the end. With a lot of dead bodies piling up in the fictional town of Charming, Rossi's character might be one of the survivors in the show's final season. "Sons of Anarchy" season 7, episode 5 is scheduled to be aired on Oct. 14 at 10 P.M Eastern.
