After its ultimate finale for its last season, "Sons of Anarchy" breaks all time record with Season 7's "Papa's Goods." The Dec. 9 finale was watched by 9.26 million viewers and was dubbed as the most viewed episode, according to the Nielsen's live-plus-3 ratings, a rating agency that tracks DVR viewing three days before the premiere is schedule to be aired.

Season 7, "Sons of Anarchy's" final season, was also the most watched season of the show with an average of 7.54 million in total views for each episode. The biker drama series beat its own record for Season 6 as the network's most watched season with more than 6 million in the 18-49 demographic.

"It's a rare and remarkable accomplishment for a television show to generate its - and our channel's -- highest ratings in its final season," said FX Networks and FX Production CEO John Langraf in his interview with Variety. "We thank (creator) Kurt Sutter and his team for an epic ride."

A show that is completely off the beaten track, "Sons of Anarchy" built up its followers through its seven-year run that started way back in 2008. Building up its viewership by its twists and turns and the cast's stunning performance, the biker show went out with a big bang as Sutter closed Jax Teller's (Charlie Hunnam) saga.

For most fans, Dec. 9 will remain a day when Jax Teller (Spoiler alert!) ran over his bike to a raging truck. The day when most fans of the show grieve with SAMCRO as they voted him out of the club and for Mr. Mayhem, and the day when took his final goodbye to Abel and Thomas as he watched them drive away with Nero (Jimmy Smits) and Wendy (Drea de Matteo).

Setting the bar high for Kurt Sutter's new project, "The Bastards Executioner," the SOA series creator is gearing up for his new drama series which is set to premiere in the fall of 2015. Although Sutter's new series is completely different from "Sons of Anarchy," the creator's experience from "The Shield" and SOA will give him the right ingredients for a tasteful show.
