Rumours are rife that Charile Hunnam was fired from "Fifty Shades of Grey" film adaptation. According to Celebrity Laundry reports, Jamie Dornan replaced Hunnam for the controversial role of Christian Grey due to the latter being fired from the set. However, in his recent interview, Hunnam has confessed that he was heartbroken by his decision to drop out from the film.

"I felt like I had an interesting take on that character and felt like I could have done a good job of playing Christian Grey, otherwise I wouldn't have taken it on in the first place," says Hunnam to Life & Style. "When you put the time into something like that and a character comes alive in your mind, it's heartbreaking not to be able to play him [...] It was definitely kind of heartbreaking having to say goodbye to that character and not bring it to life."

"He hates conforming and being told what to do. This role would force him to have to be something he is not," source had revealed to E!

2. In another theory, a source had revealed to Hollywoodlife that conflicting schedules was not the reason but Hunnam had developed cold feet towards the film.

"Charlie got cold feet," the source stated. "He wanted to get out of the movie because he was feeling like it would be his version of Showgirls and he didn't want to be remembered for that."

3. Another source had stated that Hunnam was not ready for all the attention he will receive.

4. Hunnam apparently, abandoned the project because he was worried about his future as a serious actor, reported Hollywoodlife.
