‘Sons of Anarchy’ Theo Rossi's New Ride, Actor Stars In Lowriders Movie With Eva Longoria
Known as the troubled biker Juice Ortiz in "Sons of Anarchy," Theo Rossi made headlines on the show's penultimate episode when he chose to meet the Grim Reaper right after eating his pie. After riding with SAMCRO for seven years, the actor is not yet done with his rider life as he joins the world of "lowrider cars and street tagging."
Gearing up for his new movie after his epic performance in "Sons of Anarchy" series finale, Rossi is joining Universal and Blumhouse's untitled lowriders movie. To be directed by Ricardo de Montreuil, the upcoming film is set in the East Los Angeles world of lowrider cars which is written by Josh Bierne-Gordon and Justin Tippin, with earlier drafts made by Cheo Hodari Coker and Elgin James.
The story is about Danny, a teenager who is caught between his estranged brother, Ghost, and his tradition father, who are both competing for one prize in the annual lowrider competition. There is still no update on Rossi's role but the actor is scheduled to play alongside "Desperate Housewives" star Eva Longoria and "Transformers" actress Nicola Peltz.
Meanwhile, "Sons of Anarchy" Season 7 finale is now dubbed as the highest ratings in the show's seven-year run. "Papa's Goods" is the show's epic finale that ended Jax Teller's (Charlie Hunnam) bloodbath saga as he chose to meet his death after cleaning up his mess and leaving Charming for good.
When asked about his last scene in the show and how Juice chose his death at the hand of Tully (Marilyn Manson), Rossi revealed that after Juice told Jax everything he knows about Tara's (Maggie Siff) death he decided that it's about time to end the madness. Without anyone to pressure him what to do, he finally made his choice and he chose to go at his own term.
"No one pressured him into it. No Clay, no Gemma, no Jax, no Tully, no Aryans, no Chinese, no nobody," Rossi explained in an interview with E! Weekly. "He said, "You know what, I'm exhausted. I've told everybody what I've had to tell them. I've gotten everything off my chest. My conscience is clear. It's now time to end the madness. I'm done.""
