Sony's upcoming Android flagship smartphone - Honami - appeared on Picasa with its very first camera image sample. According to XperiaBlog, the raw sample of C6902 or HSPA variant of Honami is not available for download; however, the EXIF data confirmed a number of rumoured specifications.

The image captured using Honami has a resolution of 5248 x 3936 or 20.66 megapixels, somehow confirming the rumoured 20.7MP camera sensor. Moreover, the photo has a 4:3 aspect ratio and f/2.0 aperture. The rumoured Honami shooter runs a firmware build version 14.1.G.1.443_9_b600.

In Picasa, Taylor Li, who is a senior manager at Sony Ericsson Taiwan based from his out of date LinkedIn profile, took the photo and uploaded it online which makes it an actual rather than a fake image.

The Sony Honami smartphone was expected to be launched on September 7, 2013 in the IFA event at Berlin, Germany.

100 Sony Xperia Z in London Fashion Week

Fashion designer Christopher Raeburn celebrated the London Fashion week with Sony Mobile in a collaboration to create a custom-built spiral rig made up of 100 Sony Xperia Z smartphones. The entire idea was made to capture every angle of three transitions that model Sera went through.

In the YouTube Channel of SonyXperia, a video called "Xperia Z Versus Fashion" included the shoot of 100 Sony Xperia handsets in a spiral rig highlighting the low-light capabilities of the Xperia Z camera.

There is also a "making of" video of Xperia Z spiral rig participation in the London Fashion week, showing the custom software, bespoke applications and wireless control system.

Sony Xperia Z is the Android flagship smartphone of Sony in early 2013 featuring full HD display screen, and dust-proof and water-resistant capability for up to 30 minutes in 1 metre depth.
