Sony i1 Honami to Boast 5" HD Display, 20MP Camera with Cybershot CMOS Sensor & Carl Zeiss Lens, 2.3GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 and Water + Dust Resistance Features
An upcoming phablet device from Sony called i1 Honami is rumoured to have 5-inch screen display, 20-megapixel primary camera and 2.3GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor. It also features a textured back plating and aluminium frame.

Sony's upcoming H2 flagship device, Honami, leaked through photos with revealing details of its rear view, infrared sensor and camera elements. The back view of the i1 Honami shows an infrared sensor which may be used for remote control function, speaker grill at the bottom, 3.5mm headphone jack at the top, dedicated camera button, a camera lens and an LED flash next to it.
Based on its form, i1 Honami looks quite similar with Xperia Z but instead of having glass fibre polyamide, the device boasts an aluminium frame and textured back plating.
Cybershot CMOS Sensor and Carl Zeiss Lens Together?
According to BGR, Sony i1 Honami will have both the Cybershot CMOS Sensor and Carl Zeiss lens to produce outstanding photo and video captures. Mobile CMOS Sensor from Sony has been known to create impressive digital capturing results with great remarks in terms of lighting conditions, vividness, colour reproduction and low noise. Carl Zeiss lenses are commonly found in new phones from Nokia, especially on Lumia devices which maximises the potential power of every camera megapixel.
Technical Specifications and Protection
Sony i1 is speculated to sport a 5-inches of screen display with HD resolution, 2.3GHz quad-core of the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, Adreno 330 graphics chipset, 2GB of RAM for intense multi-tasking, 2700-3000 mAh of non-removable battery, microSD card slot and 20MP rear camera.
Aside from the heavy powered hardware, i1 Honami will also feature both water and dust resistances similar to most high-end Xperia mobile phones.
Sony is expected to announce the upcoming i1 Honami smartphone at the IFA trade show in September 2013.
