FCC filing of another Sony flagship device, Xperia i1 Honami, hints the product release by end of September. The filed documentation states Sony's latest attempt in the smartphone market. Just as its other device, Xperia Z and Ultra, continue to make waves, it seems the Japan-based electronics company is going all out on its transformation.

Techkiddy reported the FCC filing. The report states that the device will feature a 5-inch full HD capacitive multitouch display. It will run on Qualcomm quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor at 2.2GHz. Honami offers 16GB internal storage and 2GB RAM. It also features Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean and Sony's custom launcher.

Other specs include 3,000mAh battery and the much hyped 20.7-megapixel rear camera. The HD camera will go against Nokia's Lumia 1020. Nokia's smartphone shoots with 41-megapixel PureView camera technology. Analysts and consumers alike will need to wait for the official announcement of Sony to confirm all specs.

Similar to the newest mobile offerings from the company, many reports claim Honami will also be water and dust proof. The Japanese tech giant continues to maximize opportunities. They will also release the Android-phablet Xpera Z Ultra. Xperia Z Ultra specs include: 8MP rear camera, 6.44 inch full HD display, and quad-core processor.

Google recently released the Jelly Bean 4.3 update through the Nexus 7 second generation tablet. Currently, Sony remains to be the only phone marker to confirm and start rolling out Android 4.3 on its mobile handsets. Samsung, LG and other companies will have to confirm about their specific updates for newest Android interface.

Reports indicate Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie update can come late September or October.
