Sony Xperia Tablet Z2 Leaked
Finally, Sony's upcoming codenamed device "Castor" has been revealed as Xperia Tablet Z2, successor of the Xperia Tablet Z. @evleaks via XperiaBlog revealed the model number of "Castor" as SGP521 LTE model and it is much thinner and faster than the predecessor.
It has a thickness of 6.4 mm and powered by 2.3 GHz quad-core processors supported by 3 GB of RAM for improved multitasking experience and virtually lag-free performance. The 6.4 mm thickness is slightly thinner compared to Xperia Z Ultra and Apple's iPad Air.
Like the Xperia Tablet Z, the second generation features metallic and glass design with dust-resistance and waterproof technologies. It is also expected to run Android KitKat similar with the upcoming Sony Xperia Sirius including the latest version of Xperia home launcher and UI.
However, if closely compared to the technical specifications of Xperia Tablet Z original, several points are just marginal upgrades rather than outstanding unlike with Xperia Z to Xperia Z1 transition.
