Specs of the upcoming Sony Xperia Z3 leaked out from a popular tipster and it seems like that the new flagship may not be a full upgrade of Xperia Z2 and Xperia Z1. Here are the reasons why users should keep Xperia Z2 or Z1 at the mean time.
Sony Xperia Z3 Specs Leaked
Popular leakster @evleaks revealed the specifications of the alleged and upcoming flagship smartphone, Sony Xperia Z3. According to @evleaks, the new smartphone features similar hardware components to its predecessor instead of bearing full upgrade.

Most of these specifications are already found on Xperia Z2 and fans should wait until Sony Mobile confirms any of the leaked details. It is also possible that the company may offer difference in terms of software since @evleaks did not reveal any information about it.
Compared with Xperia Z2 and Z1
Sony Xperia Z2 and Xperia Z1 are both expensive flagship smartphones which likely the same with Xperia Z3 upon release. But is it practical to upgrade to Xperia Z3 in case the leaked specs are true?

Software packages of Xperia Z2 are portable to Xperia Z1 smartphone such as native Sony apps via official Android 4.4.4 KitKat while camera apps and exclusives have been ported by several developers from XDA.
