Sony Mobile will make the latest Xperia smartphone available through two network carriers in the United States. Both T-Mobile and Verizon Wireless are offering Xperia Z3 smartphones -- but which one has the best set of features?
Sony Xperia Z3v Coming Soon From Verizon Wireless
Rumours are true that Sony Xperia Z3 is coming out to another network carrier in the United States. Verizon Wireless confirms that the latest Xperia smartphone having the variant model Xperia Z3v is coming soon, according to their official website.
Subscribers can now pre-register for Sony Xperia Z3v by simply entering an email address to receive the official product and launch details. As based on the original Xperia Z3, Xperia Z3v comes with a premium design, IP-certification for dust and water protection, long-lasting battery using STAMINA mode, PlayStation 4 gaming experience via Remote Play and 4K video recording.
However, some things are unique on this variant, which defines slight difference from the original Xperia Z3. Sony Mobile and Verizon Wireless noted that Xperia Z3v has Qi technology used for wireless charging while XperiaBlog claims that it features more design factor from Xperia Z2 than the original Xperia Z3.
Sony Xperia Z3 Models: T-Mobile vs. Verizon
Press release from T-Mobile did not mention yet any changes on the model name of Xperia Z3, unlike with Xperia Z1 that labeled Xperia Z1s as its U.S. variant.
T-Mobile noted that the device features waterproof certification, top-of-the-line processor and its 20.7 MP rear-facing camera having SteadyShot technology. Here are the specifications revealing slight differences between the two variants:

Camera technology on between the two also differs in terms of ISO and lens. Xperia Z3 has 25 mm wide-angle lens and ISO level of up to 12800 while Xperia Z3v uses the 27 mm wide-angle lens and does not feature ISO level of up 12800. Other features such as BIONZ, Triluminos, X-Reality and various sound engines are the same. T-Mobile will offer Sony Xperia Z3 around fall of 2014 while Verizon Wireless is expected to announce the official launching of the Sony Xperia Z3v before the year ends.
