Sony Xperia Z3, Z1, Z1 Compact And Z Ultra Latest Firmware 23.0.A.2.108 And 14.4.A.0.155 Certified
Sony Xperia Z3 has a minor update certified by PTCRB having the build version 23.0.A.2.108. Sony Xperia Z1, Xperia Z1 Compact and Xperia Z Ultra received a new certification of 14.4.A.0.155 firmware build from PTCRB as well.
Sony Xperia Z3 23.0.A.2.108 New Certified Firmware
PTCRB certified a new firmware for the Sony Xperia Z3 D6653 having the build version 23.0.A.2.108 in October 21. If released, it will move the 2014 flagship smartphone from 23.0.A.2.105.
According to the official software support page of Xperia Z3, 23.0.A.2.93 is the current available software released since September 22 running Android KitKat OS different to the reports from XperiaBlog of 23.0.A.2.105 firmware build version as the latest available for all Xperia Z3 devices. Though, Sony Mobile noted that the smartphone is planned for Android 5.0 Lollipop update.
New Firmware Certification For Sony Xperia Z1, Xperia Z1 Compact And Xperia Z Ultra
Three other smartphones from Sony have been certified as well by PTCRB for a new firmware build version. Sony Xperia Z1 C6903, Xperia Z1 Compact D5503 and Xperia Z Ultra C6833 received certification for firmware build version 14.4.A.0.155 from PTCRB in Oct. 20 and if released, the software upgrade will move the smartphones from 14.4.A.0.108 build version which currently available according the software support pages. Official change logs of the 14.4.A.0.108 are noted below:

- Improvements to Google+, Google Voice, Contacts and music streaming.
- Latest versions of all Sony apps.

Future Of Sony Xperia Z3, Xperia Z1, Xperia Z1 Compact And Xperia Z Ultra
Sony Mobile included Xperia Z3, Xperia Z1, Xperia Z1 Compact and Xperia Z Ultra to the official Android 5.0 Lollipop upgrade plans scheduled next year. Expected features to be added on the Android 5.0 update from Sony include Project Volta, Material Design UI changes, new Quick Settings, upgrades on the Notification Centre, additional languages, improvements on Internet and Bluetooth connectivity. Sony also confirms that the next generation firmware release will include new branded apps and services for improved user experience.
