Sony Xperia Z3V: V for Verizon Comes to the US on October 23: Specifications and Prices Offered

Today, in an event in New York City Sony and Verizon unveiled the latest flagship device of Sony the Xperia Z3v. This is the first version of Xperia Z3 that is released exclusively for the U.S. market. The flagship phone was launched to create a niche in the U.S. market.
Sony Xperia Z3v is an exculsive Verizon phone and the carrier will offer this phone on Oct. 23. Prospective buyers and fans of Sony will be glad to hear that the phone is being offered for $199 on contract basis. The Xperia Z3v has almost the same specifications of the Sony Xperia Z3.
The Xperia Z3v has a 5.2 inch Triluminos display of 1,080p. Under its hood is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor with 32 GB of internal memory and a microSD slot for expandable memory. Verizon is offering 25 GB of Cloud Storage on this phone. It has wireless charging including Qi charging which Verizon has included in the handset. This has made the smartphone a little thicker than its prototype. The battery specification is 3,200 mAh that will be packed with a lot of power. The chassis is aluminium framed with a glass back and is waterproof.
The software in the phone has not changed from the European version. Sony's custom apps are included along with the Verizon ware including the Amazon suite and NFL mobile. The camera too is the same 20.7 mega pixel. The technology that has been used in the camera makes photos and video crystal clear. The main feature that will catch everyone's attention is the PlayStation integration especially the Remote Play. Lovers of gaming would definitely want to possess this handset.
The pricing of the Xperia Z3v is just $199 on a two year contract from Verizon. The carrier is offering a bundle deal with the launch of the phone that will include an Xperia Z2 Tablet that will save $200 on the bundle.
Verizon will also offer the Sony Smartwatch 3 that is priced at $249, the CPW5 Wireless Portable Qi power supply at $59 and a Dualshock 4 Wireless controller for $59 and GCM10 Game Control Mount at $39 for the PS4 Remote Play. Verizon will offer the Sony Xperia Z3v in all its outlets starting October 23.
