Tuesday's Spanish La Liga Schedule: Barcelona vs. Real Sociedad (2:00 a.m), Atletico vs. Osasuna

Barcelona head coach Gerardo Martino is doing a fine job rotating his players as he looks to keep them healthy throughout the season. On Tuesday, the Barca boss is expected to rest Cesc Fabregas and likely keep Pedro from the starting lineup despite his sensational hat-trick against Rayo Vallecano at the weekend.

Fabregas has been playing in all eight competitive matches for the Catalonian ball club and now, Martino feels it's his turn to have some breather after logging heavy minutes in those games.

"We have to think about what state we'll be in by March or April. Our aim is to have all our players in top form by the end of each competition. At the moment of truth, perhaps we won't care about how many minutes players have had, we'll be more concerned about what we need to do," Martino told ESPN FC on Tuesday.

So far, Martino's arrival at Camp Nou has been fruitful for Barcelona, who won their first five Spanish La Liga assignments and dominated their Champions League Opener against Ajax 4-0.

During their onslaught, Barcelona saw back-to-back hatrick performance from Messi and Pedro while their defense has been impeccable so far.

"It's very difficult to rotate him after scoring three goals, but it could happen," he added. "The last thing we want is for our players to suffer during the game, we want them to be at 100 per cent so they can be at their best" Martino said of his plan to keep Pedro out of the starting lineup.

Real Sociedad is struggling to get going early into the season. With 1-3-1 slate, Sociedad found their selves in the middle of the pack in the Spanish La Liga Standings.

Meanwhile, Atletico Madrid is attempting to keep their unblemished slate against Osasuna at the Vicente Calderon.

Head coach Diego Simeone said his team is bursting with confidence right now following their victory against Zenit St Petersburg 3-1 in the UEFA Champions League opener and Real Valladolid 2-1.

"There is no reason at all for us to end this run we are on, that would make the huge effort we made in Valladolid count for nothing," he told a press conference," Atletico Madrid told ESPN FC.
