Nicolas Almagro is the latest tennis player to tie the knot this year. The 30-year-old Spaniard married Rafi Lardin at a private ceremony in his hometown on Sunday.

On Friday, Almagro hinted that he will get hitched by posting a photo on Twitter with a caption in his native language that reads, “Last training session as a single man, great send-off month working with @mmona41 and Charly, missing Andy.” According to a report by Puntodebreak.com, Almagro and Lardin married at a convent in Los Jeronimos on Sunday.

The World No. 73 player rarely talks about his love life, but he occasionally posts pictures of him with Lardin on social media. He is the latest Spaniard who got married this season after fellow compatriot and tennis stars David Ferrer and Marc Lopez also tied the knot with their respective girlfriends in November.

Almagro ended the season with 18-20 win-loss record. The Spaniard lost in the first round of the 2015 Australian Open against Kei Nishikori 6-4 7-6(1) 6-2. At the Roland Garros, Almagro lost to nine-time French Open champion Rafael Nadal in the second round 6-4 6-3 6-1. He also suffered a first-round exit against Gilles Simon 6-4 6-4 7-5 at the Wimbledon Championships and failed to get through against Guilherme Clezar 7-6(7) 6-4 6-4 in the second qualifying round at the US Open. He last played at the Valencia Open, where he is a two-time champion (2006 and 2007), but lost in the first round to Roberto Bautista-Agut 7-6(1) 4-6 6-4.

Almagro reached his career-high singles rank as World No. 9 in 2011 after claiming three titles at Nice, Buenos Aires, and Costa Do Sauipe tournaments. All of Almagro’s nine ATP titles were won in claycourt events.
