Daniel Craig may be a renowned action star, but that doesn’t mean he is unbreakable. The actor revealed he’s had multiple accidents while filming for the James Bond film franchise, the latest being “Spectre.” During a recent guest appearance on the Norton Graham Show, Craig disclosed that he’d sustained multiple broken bones in different parts of his body.

Craig appeared before Norton, along with his “Spectre” co-stars Naomi Harris and Christoph Waltz, and talked about the accidents he encountered while doing the James Bond franchise. In the video, seen below, the actor talks about the seriousness of his injuries that required him to undergo surgery.

“I’ve had my right shoulder re-constructed, my right and left knees operated on, “he said.

Harris’ eyes are seen growing wide, clearly in surprise, as she listened to Craig talk about his surgeries. However, to make light of the situation, the actor jokes, "and my thumb hurts!”

While filming “Spectre” in Mexico in April, Craig sustained a knee injury that required him to take a two-week recovery. He had to undergo arthroscopic surgery to have his broken knee fixed. He was back in action after two weeks, returning to Pinewood Studios on April 22 to continue filming. It was reported that the production of the film didn’t suffer during Craig’s absence since his surgery took place during a scheduled break.

The 47-year-old reportedly took his James Bond role to heart and with passion. Barbara Broccoli, the producer for “Spectre,” told People in a previous interview that Craig is so dedicated to making the film that he even did some of the action stunts on his own. Broccoli added that the James Bond star really gave it his all in the action sequences.

“Spectre” co-producer Michael G. Wilson also commended the actor for his determination and dedication in doing the action stunts. In the same interview with People, Wilson revealed that Craig really took on the physical challenge that was needed for his James Bond role and that he did an amazing job at it.

“The physical challenge was amazing. But Daniel went through it and he got the job done,” he said.
