'Spring Breakers' Sexy New Stills [PHOTOS]
Former Disney stars are just about ready to shed all the "good girl" tags tied to their name and faces. It is no wonder why Selena Gomez and Vanessa Hudgens have taken on the sultry and super sexy roles of college girls in the highly anticipated flick, "Spring Breakers."
While the film is set for a 2013 release, promotional photos of the cast in bikinis hit the web to keep tongues wagging and eyes on the lookout for more.
Directed by Harmony Korine, the flick is basically about four college girls who steal from a store to finance their spring break. Things get out of hand when the girls, Selena Gomez, Vanessa Hudgens, Rachel Korine and Ashley Benson, get into a deal with a drug dealer, James Franco, get wasted on the streets of Florida plus get busted by cops.
The film preview debuted at the Cannes Film Festival which was enough to keep people raving. Others may have doubted Selena Gomez's acting ability but one look at her playing the mature role of a drunk at potty mouth college girl was enough to prove others wrong. Ironically, Selena had a bit of training with regards to smoking a cigarette for the part of Faith.
"I'd never smoked a cigarette before in my entire life," said Selena, adding, "It was really funny - they had to show me how to do it." As for why Selena had opted to choose such a racy role?
"I was getting kind of repetitive in terms of the roles I was picking, and I really wanted to do something that was completely different," explained Justin Bieber's girlfriend.
The 2013 release is undoubtedly a long way to go. A few films out by this year are surely enough to lose people's interest in the film. Yet, thanks to a few promotional photos that keep popping out of the web, people are still hyped about Selena Gomez's edgier role in the film "Spring Breakers".
So for those who just can't wait to see Selena Gomez in action while in a teeny bikini, plus see Selena and her co-stars get drunk and wasted on the screen, take a look at their promotional photos released by Division Films.
