College is obviously not Emma Roberts's top priority. In fact, she has placed her higher education on hold to focus on the more important things in life: her career.

So what is keeping the young Julia Roberts look-alike so busy that she can't be swamped up with schoolwork? Could it not only be her acting career but her long-distance relationship with Glee actor Chord Overstreet as well? Maybe yes, maybe not is the closest guess fans have.

"Due to work commitments, Emma has had to defer her college experience," says the representative of the actress in an interview with Life & Style Weekly. It could be said otherwise for actor and producer James Franco who can still pursue multiple degrees even while working in front and behind the camera. Was it not just last year that Emma Roberts excitedly shares her excitement to start college?

"I've never been to college and I just wanted to get away from everything for awhile and try something new, explore some other stuff," said Emma Roberts in an interview by Us Weekly. Maybe it really isn't the work that is keeping her busy but her relationship with Chord instead?

"Emma's in love and wants to spend time with Chord," says a close pal of the actress at Sarah Lawrence which is located at Bronxville. "You can't blame her!" she added.

Well, indeed we can't blame the young actress from falling head over heels and choosing her career over her education but is this really the smartest choice? Apart from James Franco, a few other celebrities managed to go to college and act at the same time such as "Harry Potter's" Emma Watson.

Her work isn't the only thing that's also keeping her from cutting class. It seems Emma can skip class for a fashion show.

"I ditched class to come to this show, and that's probably bad. I'm going back at the end of the week," shared the star. In that statement alone the star openly admitted to ditch class for a Tibi fashion show. Are your priorities really set, miss Roberts?

If Chord is keeping her busy, then Emma Roberts is surely in for a swamped schedule with "Spring Breakers" already set for filming at the end of this month.
