‘Star Wars 7’: Darth Vader-Luke Skywalker Duel Hinted In Leaked Photo
Indie Revolver provided the details on the photo. The site claimed the Forest of Dean location of "Star Wars: Episode VII' was altered in favour of a snowy mountain landscape. Contradictory to total-geeks' report that the Puzzlewood location in Wales was supposedly used to represent the Ewoks' home planet of Endor. A battle scene was said to have been filmed in the Forest involving Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, John Boyega and Pip Anderson.
However, Indi Revolver's Jay Carlson claims what's supposed to be the Ewoks' place of refuge will feature "the new scout/snowtrooper hybrid in action." This reportedly matches the concept art image which also sees the iconic Millennium Falcon. The tall, slender figure on the photo allegedly resembles Darth Vader or the" new hooded cyborg." However, it could supposedly also be Lupita Nyong'O in character. The actress is rumoured to play a Sith villain. However, Inquisitr contests she doesn't have the height to play as a Sith. Gwendolyn Christie reportedly fits the character well with her tall frame and sword-fighting skills as seen in "Game of Thrones."
The small-framed figure holding the green lightsaber is assumed to be Luke Skywalker. On the foreground is another figure aiming a gun at the two characters in a lightsaber duel. It's speculated that he could either be a bounty hunter according to Carlson. The lightsaber duel depicted in the photo reportedly takes place in a snowy landscape. Roger Moore previously confirmed that "Star Wars: Episode VII" shot some scenes for an Ice Planet at Pinewood Studios. As previously mentioned by the International Business Times, the "James Bond" actor visited his good friend and movie director J.J. Abrams on set. He claimed he saw casts and crew "filming something with a lot of mountains and snow." The actor didn't divulge any further details though on the movie.
Other previous reports also confirmed an Ice Planet will be featured in "Star Wars: Episode VII." An incident reportedly happened involving the movie's production in Iceland. One of the helicopters encountered an accident while the crew was filming on the glaciers.
"Star Wars: Episode VII" opens in U.S. cinemas on Dec. 18, 2015.
