A model of the Millenium Falcon starship is displayed during press day for the exhibit "Star Wars Identities" at the "Cite du Cinema" movie studios in Saint-Denis, near Paris, February 13, 2014. The exhibit, which explores the theme where visitors identify themselves with a Star Wars character, will run from February 15, 2014 to June 30, 2014. Reuters

Plot details for "Star Wars: Episode VII" supposedly involves a search for Luke Skywalker. Daisy Ridley and John Boyega reportedly journey off-worlds with Han Solo and Chewbacca to look for the Jedi Master.

However, Jedi News UK credits a source who claimed the "search for Luke Skywalker" concept in "Star Wars: Episode VII" has apparently been tweaked in previous reports. According to writer Justin LaSalata, he received an anonymous email from a source who said the "find Luke" premise is secondary to the main concept, which reportedly involves a problem encountered by a group of young casts. "Trying to deal with a problem they uncover that they feel they can overcome themselves, presumably something relating to the machinations of the Sith and/or Empire," LaSalata said.

These young characters (hinting John Boyega and Daisy Ridley's role) initially thought they could overcome the challenge themselves. However, according to the source, they eventually discovered that they are "severely outmatched and way out of their league. " This is when Luke Skywalker's presence reportedly comes. The young ones supposedly enlist the aid of the Jedi Master in "Star Wars: Episode VII." Luke, on the other hand, allegedly has no knowledge of how extreme the problem has gotten that it "requires his immediate attention." Thus, the young characters scramble in their search for Luke Skywalker to pacify the problem.

However, the source reportedly failed to mention how long until Luke is found. Likewise, his whereabouts at the start of the movie wasn't revealed.

According to Making Star Wars, the source's claims somehow coincide with previous reports on the X-Wing being on Tatooine. Additionally, the search for Luke Skywalker could merely be a backstory in "Star Wars: Episode VII." Fans may not actually see this scene play out in the final movie.

The search for the Jedi Master was said to have been the main premise in "Star Wars: Episode VII." Previous plot details from Badass Digest involve a lightsaber falling from the sky over at Tatooine. Daisy Ridley and John Boyega discover the Jedi relic and sets off on a journey to find its rightful owner. That's when they meet Han Solo and Chewbacca aboard the Millennium Falcon. Together they start off on a quest to find Luke Skywalker, who has supposedly been missing for a total of 30 years since "Return of the Jedi." As with previous reports and speculations, the producers of "Star Wars: Episode VII" have not revealed official details about the plot of the movie as of this time.
