An expert swordsman in HBO's "Game of Thrones," actor Miltos Yerolemou will reportedly be exchanging his weapon for a lightsaber as the newest addition to the casts of "Star Wars: Episode VII."

Miltos Yerolemou played as Syrio Forel in the TV adaptation of George R.R. Martin's "Game of Thrones" novel. He brought life to the character of an expert and athletic swordsman according to MakingStarWars.net. With his broad knowledge in sword fighting, few speculated that he may be wielding a lightsaber in the sci-fi movie. But whether he would play as a Jedi or a Sith is yet unknown claims Movieweb. However, he will reportedly have a minor role.

In "Game of Thrones," Miltos Yerolemou as Syrio Forel appeared on Season 1 of HBO's fantasy series. Syrio was hired by Arya Stark's father, Ed Stark, so he could train his daughter on basic sword fighting. Looking at how he works the sword (see video below), MakingStarWars claims he could definitely be a Jedi. However, he could reportedly also pass as a villain because of his expertise in using the weapon.

However, neither Lucasfilm nor Disney have released an official statement regarding Miltos Yerolemou's involvement in "Star Wars: Episode VII." Likewise, the actor's last tweet (retweet) also offered no hint to his reported casting.

My name is Syrio Forel, I am your father, prepare to die...

If confirmed, the actor will not be the only "Game of Thrones" star who will have a role in "Star Wars: Episode VII." Gwendoline Christie (Brienne of Tarth) was recently cast and rumoured to play as an Imperial Commander. In a previous article from International Business Times, Christie will reportedly play as John Boyega's commander. She hunts down Boyega, who is rumoured to be an Imperial Soldier, after he abandons the dark side and goes AWOL. Fueled by anger, she shoots down his ship over at Tatooine, causing it to explode. That's when Daisy Ridley's character rescues him and tends to his wounds.

"Star Wars: Episode VII" is slated for a U.S. release on Dec. 18, 2015. It also stars Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford, Adam Driver, Domhall Gleeson, Carrie Fisher and Lupita Nyong'o. The movie is under the direction of J.J. Abrams.
