Star Wars 7 Production News: Harrison Ford Back on His Feet
Bringing some cheer to "Star Wars" 7 fans Harrison Ford was reportedly spotted in a London food store. The production of the movie was delayed due to his injury but the producers confirmed that the filming was on track to be released on Dec 18, 2015.
Harrison Ford was reportedly seen walking with a leg crutch. According to a report by The Independent the actor was also seen eating a big muffuletta sandwich. The report also said that the 71 year old actor looked in good health.
The production of "Star Wars" 7 will be taking a two week hiatus following Harrison Ford's injuries. Lucas Films confirmed that the actor was doing well and will be coming back to the production set soon.
"Star Wars" 7 has wrapped up its production in Abu Dhabi and principal photography is ongoing at the Pinewoods Studio in London. A report from BBC suggests that the movie is currently being filmed in Puzzlewood in Forest of Dean. The location has been used in the past for producing popular TV shows and movies like "Merlin," "Doctor Who" and "Jack the Giant Slayer."
"Star Wars" 7 has two new additions to its cast. American actress Crystal Clarke and the British actor Pip Andersen will be playing undisclosed roles. Movie buffs will be able to see Crystal Clarke in her first feature film "The Moon and the Sun," which will be released in 2015.
Pip Anderson practices a skill called parkour. Parkour is a relatively new sport which involves moving rapidly in an urban environment and involves running, jumping and climbing urban obstacles like walls and railings. People who indulge in the activity are often seen jumping from one building to another gracefully.
The other cast members of "Star Wars" 7 include Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Peter Mayhew, Anthony Daniels, Kenny Baker, Gwendoline Christie, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, Lupita Nyong'o, Oscar Isaac, Adam Driver, Max Von Sydow, John Boyega, Daisy Ridley and Dixie Arnold.
"Star Wars" 7 will be released on Dec 18, 2015 in Australia, Canada, UK, U.S and New Zealand. The plot of the movie has still not been revealed by the producers. The movie is being directed by J.J. Abrams, known for movies like "Mission: Impossible 3" and "Star Trek Into Darkness."
