The director of "Star Wars" 7, J.J. Abrams, gave the viewers a big clue from the production set of the movie. Viewers can expect to see the X-Wing starfighter in the upcoming movie. The movie is slated to be released on Dec 18, 2015.

J.J. Abrams posted a video showing the X-Wing fighter from the "Star Wars" 7 filming set of London. The video was for the Force for Change initiative. The initiative from Disney and Lucasfilm has committed $1 million to UNICEF's Innovation Labs, which is said to benefit children in need.

The producers of "Star Wars" 7 are giving the fans a chance to be in the movie by contributing to the UNICEF. In the video J.J. Abrams thanked all those who have participated in the initiative so far. People from 119 countries are said to have made contributions to win a chance to feature in the movie.

There is still one week left to contribute and win a chance to visit the production sets of "Star Wars" 7. The winners will also feature in the movie and be amongst the first to watch the movie in an advance screening of the movie before it is released in the theatres worldwide.

The video posted by J.J Abrams was shot in front of an X-Wing starfighter and viewers can see the cockpit door open and a pilot getting in. Readers should note that the pilot uniform is similar to the ones worn by the pilots of the rebel alliance in the original trilogy.

The X-Wing fighter in the video seems to have seen some action. Viewers can see that the fighter is mostly worn out and some parts have a black coating. Two blast marks can also be seen just below the cockpit. There is a big hanger in the background and a small cleaning droid can also be seen in the video.

"Star Wars" 7 will continue the saga of the Jedi master Luke Skywalker. The upcoming movie will pickup from after the events of the death of the emperor in episode 6. Some of the original characters making a comeback in the movie include Han Solo, Leis Solo, Luke Skywalker, Chewbacca, R2-D2 and C-3PO.
