‘Star Wars 7’: Set Photos Hint Adam Driver An X-Wing Pilot, Gwendolyn Christie Spotted In Greenham
Over the weekend, reports confirmed that filming of "Star Wars: Episode VII" also took place in Greenham Common. Now set photos from the location have circulated, which allegedly revealed Adam Driver's role in the movie and gave a first look at Gwendolyn Christie in costume.
Courtesy of Facebook user Rick Lawrence, starwars7news claims fans may have their first look at Adam Driver and Gwendolyn Christie on set of "Star Wars: Episode VII." Photos from the movie's Greenham Common filming have surfaced online.
From the photos, Adam Driver is supposedly dressed as a rebel fighter, according to Makingstarwars. Additionally, starwars7news claims his costume hints he is an X-Wing pilot. Furthermore, the photo appears to suggest retro scenes, so Adam Driver dressing up in a rebel fighter suit could be for a flashback scene in "Star Wars: Episode VII." However, these observations are somewhat contradictory to previous speculations that the actor may be playing as a villain the sci-fi movie.

Gwendolyn Christie was also spotted in Greenham Commons. However, she reportedly didn't give off any hint on her role in the movie based on her costume. Both sites are uncertain if it's really the actress on the photo, but her height reportedly poses a great resemblance to Christie's. The actress stands at 6'3"; the photos showed that the woman was taller than the men.
What's interesting to note though is her costume. It's not hard to mistake her for a man since she was dressed in the same outfit as the rest of the male extras for "Star Wars: Episode VII." Another actor slightly resembling John Boyega is also spotted in the photo, but no further details were mentioned about him. He too is dressed in the same costume as Gwendolyn Christie.
Previous reports from the International Business Times claim John Boyega and Gwendolyn Christie are both playing stormtroopers in "Star Wars: Episode VII." The actress will be Boyega's commanding officer. As an Imperial Officer, she sets out to hunt him since he has gone AWOL. In her frustration, she shoots down his ship over at Tatooine where Daisy Ridley's character finds and rescues him from the wreckage.
Yet again, from the set photos of "Star Wars: Episode VII" in Greenham Common, fans can only assume what Adam Driver and Gwendolyn Christie's characters are. J.J. Abrams and LucasFilm have yet to reveal any details regarding their role in the movie.
