Fans are still wild-guessing which iconic villain will return to the "Star Wars" galaxy. However, potential details about "Star Wars: Episode 7" villain's background have emerged. According to Making Star Wars, the villain has a connection to a wealthy aristocratic family that involves "Episode 7's bad guys." The writer of the "Making Star Wars" article speculates that the villain maybe the flesh and blood of Count Dooku.
Cinema Blend notes that Dooku was also named Darth Tyranus who was seen in "Episode II: Attack of the Clones" and "Episode III: Revenge of the Sith." Furthermore, the publication speculates that "Dooku's extended family being major antagonists in the new films makes sense if the idea of an aristocratic family being the villains is legitimate."

The website suggests that it could be that the new pilots have gone rogue or the bad guys have seized the "defunct X-wing ships to turn them back on the Rebel Alliance. The entertainment news publication cites the rumour that suggested that Adam Driver will play the role of a character "who starts fighting for good, but eventually turns" evil. It is suggested that such a drastic shift in his character is possible. The website provides several scenarios in which such a transformation could play up.
