‘Star Wars’ Episode 7: Questions that the Movie Needs to Answer
"Star Wars" fans eagerly await the release of the new movie from the franchise. The new movie, which is reportedly part of a trilogy, will need to answer some hard questions for the devoted fans.
How was Darth Vader Born?
The latest trilogy from the "Star Wars" franchise did not touch upon the subject of how Darth Vader was born without a father and how great powers were bestowed upon him. There is speculation among fans that he was genetically engineered by Darth Sidious and his master.
The movies did explain that the power of the force comes from "midichlorians," the microscopic life forms that are found in the blood of a Jedi or Sith. The higher the number of midichlorians the more powerful the Jedi or Sith can become.
With rumours that Luke Skywalker character will be making a return in the new "Star Wars" trilogy, fans expect that he will explore the origins of his father and maybe answer the questions in the fans' mind.
Where is the Evil?
Fans of the original "Star Wars" trilogy enjoyed the role of evil characters like Darth Vader and the bounty hunter Boba Fett. Fans were disappointed not to find such evil characters in the latest trilogy.
The evil character Count Dooku was seen by fans as more like an evil politician, who was constantly trying to bring together the failing separatists. The other evil personality was the emperor, who only showed his true colours in the last movie in the trilogy.
The movies explored the journey of Anakin to the dark side and fans only got to see him as Darth Vader towards the very end of the movie. The bounty hunter Boba Fett was seen as only a child.
Can the Sith Come Back from the Dead?
The original "Star Wars" trilogy saw Obiwan Kenobi return from his death to guide young Luke Skywalker. After the death of Darth Vader he too was seen in his spiritual form and he was joining Jedi master Yoda.
Fans who were disappointed with too many good characters in the latest "Star Wars" movies are asking - why can't the evil Sith come back from the dead too, possibly to corrupt a young Jedi to turn to the dark side.
The eternal struggle between the Jedi and the Sith is set to continue in the upcoming trilogy, expectations are high from the "Star Wars" episode 7 as more casting rumours emerge, click here to read about the rumoured casting of Chewbacca in the new movie.
