As the "Star Wars" Episode 7 release date is expected Dec. 18, 2015, fans have started speculating about the movie's plot and cast. They also have a wishlist of what they want to see in the movie. Here are the top 5 things they hope to see in the movie.

1. Arc Troopers

The previous "Star Wars" movies' clones have been shown as instruments of evil, but fans who have followed the exploits of the clones from the time they were fighting alongside the Jedi will realize that the clone army is a powerful force that can be used for either good or evil.

The Arc troopers are the elite special forces in the clone army and as such come better equipped with armor, blasters and other equipment. The "Star Wars" animation series has explored the prowess of the Arc troopers. Showcasing the human side of the Arc troopers and the clone army and their abilities in the upcoming movie is something that fans are looking forward.

2. Mandalorian Mercenaries

Mandalorians are among the best bounty hunters in the "Star Wars" universe. The clone army was built by cloning a Mandalorian bounty hunter called Jango Fett. The blaster wielding bounty hunter and his son, Boba Fett, were loved by the fans. The Mandalorians with their jet packs could make a formidable force. Fans would like to see more people from the planet, which would give the producers a chance to show a new planet in the movie.

3. Droid Army

If there is one thing the Jedi are good at, it is slicing through the seemingly delicate droids of the Trade Federation. The humor that the droids bring would surely be missed if they do not feature this in the upcoming movie.

4. New Sith Lord

"Star Wars" Episode 7 would be incomplete without a powerful Sith Lord. The Sith Lord Darth Sidious perhaps got his name from the word insidious, given his subtle and indirect approach to become the emperor. Fans look forward to a more powerful Sith Lord this time around who can take on the Jedi in a more direct manner. Much like Darth Vader, who had a hands-on approach to getting things done.

5. Sith Academy

So far the movies have shown the training of a Jedi but the training of a Sith apprentice has not been given much attention. Even the turning of Anakin Skywalker to the dark side seemed a little rush, according to some fans.

"Star Wars" Episode 7 could show the Sith academy or a Sith temple. The harsh training of a Sith apprentice by a powerful Sith could make the movie a lot more exciting for the fans.

Up to this date, there have been no hints regarding the movie's plot.
