[Spoiler alert]
According to a report by Making Star Wars, a fan site that previously leaked a lot of details about “The Force Awakens” accurately, has some details to share about the characters played by Del Toro, Dern and Marie Tran. The three actors have been cast for the first time in the franchise, and there is no official confirmation about the characters they will play in the new movie.
'Star Wars: Episode 8': Leaked character descriptions
Del Toro’s character will be dressed in a full black costume and is said to be dangerous. The actor will have a clean shaven look and medium long hair, so it appears the actor may not be playing an alien character like some fans assumed. He will not be playing the role of a new villain in “Star Wars: Episode 8.” The character will not be considered to be bad by the Resistance, at least in the beginning.
According to the report, Del Toro’s character appears to be very similar to Lando Calrissian (Billy Dee Williams) in “The Empire Strikes Back.” The new character is said to be connected to the high-end casino set of the film.
'Star Wars: Episode 8': Benico Del Toro character description
Dern’s character is said to be “very aristocratic and fancy in a way we haven’t really seen in ‘Star Wars’ before.” She is said to be having pink hair and a “fancy” costume.
Marie Tran’s character in “Star Wars: Episode 8” will cross paths with Finn (John Boyega). As far as the costume is concerned the character is said to be normal looking.
