'Star Wars: Episode 9' spoilers: Darth Vader scene description
Darth Vader could be back in “Star Wars: Episode 9.” A leaked scene description reveals what could be a Force vision of Kylo Ren (Adam Driver), in which he meets his powerful grandfather. The following article contains spoilers.
According to a report by Mike Zeroh [see below] a leaked scene description of the upcoming film suggests that Darth Vader may be back in the upcoming film. The scene begins with Kylo Ren in a narrow hallway that appears to be in Cloud City. He has his lightsaber lit, and in front of him there is a figure that resembles his grandfather.
The report notes that there was an idea to bring back Darth Vader, fighting a young Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) in front of Rey (Daisy Ridley) in a Force vision in “The Force Awakens.” Scenes that have not been featured in the previous movies may appear in the upcoming film.
Instead of Rey, the upcoming film could show a Force vision of Kylo Ren. The report notes that it could come about after Kylo touches something that belonged to Darth Vader.
Kylo Ren could travel to Mustafar, the planet that has Darth Vader’s castle. One of the filming locations of the film is near a volcanic mountain in Sicily, which could be used for Mustafar. There, in the castle, Kylo could touch an object, like the Sith Lord’s lightsaber, and get sucked into a Force vision. He could also get to see his grandfather in this vision.
The upcoming film is the last in the new trilogy, and the report notes that this is a good opportunity to bring back the Sith Lord. The upcoming film will reportedly have a few fan service scenes. Besides, the movie will end on a high note if Darth Vader is featured in it.
“Star Wars: Episode 9” is being directed by JJ Abrams. Filming has already begun, and is set to be released in 2019.
