‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’: Leaked Script Reveals Darth Vader In Endor, Andy Serkis A 'Palpatine' Sith—Report
While "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" is in post-production, some interesting plot details have emerged concerning Darth Vader's presence and Andy Serkis' role as a Sith. However, these plot details remain as rumours until otherwise confirmed.
GalacticNewsOne shares a spoiler-rich report of plot details coming from a "reliable" source. As per writer Silent Jay, the plot "comes from the same source that awhile back released a ton of concept art from the film, which so far lines perfectly with what was seen in the teaser for "Star Wars: The Force Awakens."
According to the script, the movie begins in Tatooine and is set in a dystopian era where the New Republic and the Empire "have been locked in a war of attrition." It also confirms previous plot details of the film happening 30 to 40 years since the "Return of the Jedi."
Interestingly though, the leaked script confirms that flashback scenes will be included in the movie. The International Business Times claims these scenes could be of the prequel era where Jedis still exist. Additionally, the script supposedly also shows Darth Vader and a young Princess Leia, played by Billie Lourd, featured in one flashback scene that "apparently takes place in Endor." However, no further details were revealed regarding the villain's presence in Endor. According to IBTimes, Darth Vader may also make his presence known during the attack on the village in Tatooine. The Sith will reportedly lead the Stormtroopers in their fight against the Wickermans.
Meanwhile, like Darth Vader, Andy Serkis will reportedly also play a "very powerful" Sith in "Star Wars: The Force Awakens." The script describes him as "some kind of alien Sith exempt from the Rule of Two," who has existed for a very long time. Additionally, the plot supposedly involves Serkis having "trained or used Palpatine for some obscure purpose," but unlike the traitor Palpatine, he does not play or replace Darth Plagueis.
Much of what's included in the script, described as "too good for JJ Abrams," basically retells what has been reported so far regarding the supposed plot details in "Star Wars: The Force Awakens." These include Daisy Ridley and John Boyega being the lead characters, the latter being a Stormtrooper under the command of an Inquisitor played by Gwendolyn Christie. There's also the mention of Kira as friends with Von Snydow's character and the whole Luke Skywalker going into self-exile because of his great power. However, it's still uncertain if Darth Vader will really make a flashback appearance. Likewise, Andy Serkis' role as a Sith remains unconfirmed.
