“Star Wars: The Force Awakens” is 11 months away from its release date and the studio is yet to release its official synopsis. Meanwhile, rumours and speculations about the “Episode 7” of the epic space opera continue to run rampant.

Recently, Jason Ward of Making Star Wars released an article containing lot of possible plot details. According to the publication, the information has been shared to them by a source but remains unverified. The article purports to reveal the identity and the storyline of the main cast including, Mark Hamill’s Luke Skywalker, Daisy Ridley’s Rey, and John Boyega’s Finn and others.

The source believes Luke Skywalker will remain hiding for the major part of “Star Wars: The Force Awakens.” He is supposedly safeguarding “ancient Sith tomb” and protecting it from being opened by the main villain, Kylo Ren. During this time, Luke Skywalker remains in exile that he has voluntarily assumed.

The tomb reportedly contains “a body of an ancient evil being.” Even though Luke Skywalker has taken the task of keeping the tomb safe, he doesn’t know how to unlock the tomb. The only one who knows how to unlock it is Kylo Ren. Meanwhile, Luke Skywalker has been tortured by the “evil spirits of the past.” Cinema Blend speculates that this is why Luke Skywalker looks likes “a bearded recluse.” It is also inferred that the island of Skelling Michael could be the place where the ancient Sith tomb is situated in “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” as this is the place where Mark Hamill reportedly filmed some scenes last year.

Further, the source says that Daisy Ridley’s Rey is Harrison Ford’s Han Solo’s daughter. She is protecting the lightsaber that holds the key to open the tomb. Rey falls in love with Oscar Isaac’s Poe Dameron, but Han disapproves of the relationship.

John Boyega’s Finn has a painful past. His family was killed by The Empire and “was forced into recruitment along with his best friend.” It is rumoured that this best friend is the character portrayed by actor Pip Anderson, who gets killed in the opening scene of the movie. However, Finn finds a new best friend in Poe. Later, the duo is captured and land in a regal brig. The two plan their escape by stealing a TIE Fighter with the help of Rey. However, the TIE Fighter crashes, and Finn ends up wounded.

The details also provide description of some scenes such as when Finn uses Lightsaber to fend off the laser blasters. The report digs deeper into Finn’s characteristics and describes him as a “pacifist.”

The story states that Max Van Sydow is probably portraying a character of a “former Rebel Alliance veteran,” who is now in the business of ancient artifacts. It is further stated that Rey was compelled to use a bogus name to conceal her association to Han and Luke Skywalker. Meanwhile, she figures that Max Van Sydow’s character, who pretended to be her friend, is actually “her watcher all this time.”

The report claims that Domhnall Gleeson’s character “was a rebel for many years.” When he learned about the secret weapon built by Rebels, he joined The Empire. Later, he is assigned the task of “hunting Finn” and destroying the “super weapons of The Empire and the Rebels.” As for Gwendoline Christie, her character is the “lead shock trooper.”

“Star Wars: The Force Awakens” also stars Adam Driver, Carrie Fisher, Peter Mayhew, Christina Chong, Lupita Nyong’o and more. The movie is scheduled to be released on Dec. 18, 2015.
