The first trailer of "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" was intended to get the fans of the franchise excited about the movie. The official YouTube channel of the franchise already has over 10 million views since its release. However, there are a few crucial elements of the movie that the producers preferred not to share with the fans yet. [Warning: Spoiler Alert!]

The three major cast members, Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill and Carrie Fisher, were not featured in the trailer. Since the movie is set 30 years after the events of "Star Wars: Return of the Jedi," the viewers did not get any hint as to where the characters Han Solo, Luke Skywalker and Leia will be in the upcoming movie and what they will be doing.

The viewers did get a brief glimpse of the new villain in "Star Wars: The Force Awakens," but since the scene was shot from behind, the face of the villain was not revealed. However, a leaked image from StarWarsUnderworld reveals the villain to be a masked and hooded figure. The image was leaked long before the trailer of the movie was released and shows the new lightsaber design.

The "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" trailer featured a new droid, but the iconic droids R2-D2 and C-3PO were also missing in the video. The two droids have featured in all the movies from the franchise and also the animation TV series released so far.

The rumoured Chrome Troopers also did not feature in the trailer. The look of the Chrome Troopers was leaked by Indierevolver a few months back. The design of Stormtrooper's helmet is exactly like the leaks from the movie, so fans of the franchise may expect that the movie may also confirm some of the other rumours and leaks surrounding the movie that have emerged online recently.

One of the most talked about aspects of "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" relates to Luke Skywalker. The questions raised include the possibility of him reviving the old Jedi order and fighting the new evil that has emerged in the galaxy. There is also the possibility of him turning to the dark side of the force. Should the trailer have revealed more? Please leave your comments below on what you wanted to see in the trailer.
