There will be a funeral scene in “Star Wars: The Last Jedi,” a new report confirms. The report includes leaked details about a scene in the film, which is said to have been filmed in Dubrovnik, Croatia.

The following article contains spoilers from the Rian Johnson film. Readers who don’t wish to know about the scenes in the film are advised to stop here.

A leaked picture from the production set in Dubrovnik, Croatia has been posted in a new video on Mike Zeroh YouTube channel [see below]. Local sources from where the scene was filmed reportedly said that the cast and extras paid their respects in this scene. This sounds like a funeral scene, Mike points out.

Han Solo (Harrison Ford) has been an iconic character since the 1970s. Mike suggests that the death of such a big character in the franchise deserves a proper send off. The best way to do this is through a funeral scene, in which all the major characters in the film, or at least many of them, will be able to pay their respects.

The video also shows the location where the possible funeral scene for “Star Wars: The Last Jedi” was filmed. The locals were apparently asked to keep their windows closed while the filming took place. This was done because the windows would be digitally altered during the post production phase, so closed windows would help the graphics designers to make the relevant changes to transform the houses into something from an alien planet.

The leaked picture shows extras dressed in black cloaks. There were a lot of pictures from the set that surfaced when this scene was being filmed. The costumes of the actors suggest they are heading for a funeral.

This is not the first time for a report to say that there will be a funeral scene for Han Solo in the film. But, the confirmation makes it more likely that the fans will get to see this scene. Mike suggests that even if this is a small scene, the director should try to make it count by making sure it has a big impact on the minds of the fans.

Will there be a Han Solo funeral in “Star Wars: The Last Jedi”? The director will also have to find a way to pay respects to the late Carrie Fisher (Leia). Since the actress has already filmed her scenes, this has to be done in a way that seems natural and without disturbing the plot too much.
