'Star Wars Rebels' season 2 episode 2 preview video shows Ahsoka looking for the Sith
Ahsoka Tano will be back in “Star Wars Rebels” Season 2 episode 2. A promo video from the next episode shows the young Jedi going in search of a Sith lord that the rebels encountered in the premiere episode. [Spoiler Alert!]
Ahsoka had discovered in the first episode that the Sith lord Darth Vader seemed very similar to her former master Anakin Skywalker. A preview video of the next episode shows that she will now have to go in search of the Sith lord to get some answers.
Meanwhile, Kanan Jarrus and the others will have to go on their own separate mission without Ahsoka. The rebels will have to use the head of an old tactical droid to help them in their new mission.
Lucasfilm has announced that the next season of the show will focus on revealing the past lives of some of the characters and how the destiny of the heroes will be changed forever. The first episode of Season 2 showed how the Empire has tightened its grip on the planet Lothal. The rebels need new friends and allies to continue their fight.
They will also have to deal with new Inquisitors who will be sent by Darth Vader in “Star Wars Rebels” Season 2. The rebels will continue to undertake “dangerous rescue missions” and will be involved in “thrilling space chases” and “spectacular lightsaber duels.” The next season will apparently put the bonds of friendship among the heroes to the test.
Episode 2 of the show will air on Oct. 14 on Disney XD channel. Lucasfilm has also announced that the complete Season 1 Blu-ray and DVD set will be released on Sept.1.
Apart from the 15 episodes of the first season, the Blu-ray and DVD set will include bonus material like interviews with the cast and crew. A promo video posted on the official YouTube channel of the franchise shows that the bonus content will also include an extended preview of the next season.
“The Ultimate Guide” to “Star Wars Rebels” will be included in the Blu-ray and DVD pack. Fans will also be taken behind-the-scenes in the bonus content. The video teases that there will be “more excitement” in the Blu-ray version.
