'Star Wars VII': Leaked Photo Shows A Giant,Two Versions Of The Millennium Falcon
Aerial photos of the Millennium Falcon over at the Greenham Common set of "Star Wars: Episode VII" were previously leaked online. However, a new report claims the leaked images only showed one version of the Falcon since the movie will supposedly utilise two types of Chewbacca's ship.
Making Star Wars claims a concept photo for the Millennium Falcon in "Star Wars: Episode VII" shows a smaller version of the ship. This other version is supposedly code-named "The Carousel." However, writer Jason Ward suspects the name still refers to the only Falcon fans have seen so far. But some interesting details revealed on the photo allegedly prove otherwise.
Instead of the iconic white colour of the Millennium Falcon, "The Carousel" is said to be brown. However, what's interesting to note is the ship's brown-coloured ramp that stretches to the floor. According to Ward, it somehow resembles to that of Star Destroyer's as seen in "Attack of the Clones." Additionally, the smaller version of the Millennium Falcon may have seen better days. An indication that it's been under battle is evident from the ship's walls. The concept photo allegedly shows a dirty wall with blaster marks and ridges. However, as a compromise, "The Carousel" boasts "great grey metallic floor" with ornate stripes of yellow and brown.
What's reportedly making this other version of the Millennium Falcon look smaller is the presence of a giant woman in the photo. According to Ward, she could be as tall as the iconic ship in "Star Wars: Episode VII." The woman could reportedly be even taller than Chewbacca.
"This figure could touch the top of the ship with ease," he said.
However, the details in the concept photo could allegedly just have been an error in perspective. If not then Ward suspects "Star Wars: Episode VII" could feature two Millennium Falcons. The smaller version could just be used as a fighter ship and not for transport.
Previous reports claim "Star Wars: Episode VII" is not yet done building the Millennium Falcon. The International Business Times previously pointed out two photos showing the ship in its disassembled state. An older photo shows the Falcon fully assembled, while a recent one seems to suggest it's still being built. Courtesy of 20 minutes, the photo shows the Millennium Falcon still in its skeletal form. However, there's the uncertainty on when these two images were actually captured. They could supposedly be old set photos being recirculated.
The overflowing leaks of concept photos for "Star Wars: Episode VII" only ups fans' excitement over the movie. However, moviegoers may never know the entire confirmed details until the movie's release on Dec. 18, 2015.
