The premiere episode of "State of Affairs" airs on Nov. 17, 2014. The producers have released a new video that shows a virtual tour of the production set of the CIA using a drone. The video also features some of the scenes from the show. [Warning: Spoiler Alert!]

The protagonist in "State of Affairs" is Charlie Tucker who is a CIA agent tasked with briefing the President about the most credible threats facing the nation. The new video from the show features her office and the staff that will be working with her in the CIA office.

The main focus of the first few episodes appears to be a plot of revenge. Charlie Tucker's fiancé, who is also the son of the U.S. President, is killed by a terrorist organisation. The President expects Charlie to go after them and ensure that none of them survive.

However, things don't go as planned when a doctor gets kidnapped and the terrorists threaten to kill him. Charlie gets the opportunity to bring the man who killed her fiancé to justice but refuses to allow the U.S. administration to take action. She hides the intelligence report about the terrorist, and this gets her into trouble.

Omar Fatah is the main villain in "State of Affairs"; the role is played by Farshad Farahat. Charlie later confesses to hiding the information from the President, saying that she did it to be in a position that will allow her to dismantle the entire terrorist network of Fatah. She makes this promise at a graveyard to the President. It has been a year since the death of her fiancé in the TV show.

The upcoming TV show promises to be a fast-paced thriller that will combine the political intrigue that comes with the CIA, but it is also an emotional drama of two people who have lost one of their loved ones. The cast of "State of Affairs" includes Katherine Heigl as Charlie Tucker, Alfre Woodard as President Constance Payton, Adam Kaufman as Lucas Newsome, Tommy Savas as Dashiell Greer, Chris McKenna as Nick Vera and Sheila Vand as Maureen.
