'Arrow' lead Stephen Amell is a very lucky man this year. He may have closed his door on the coveted Christian Grey role, but he remains a happy man. The actor took a break this weekend from filming Arrow Season 2 to get married - again - to lucky woman Cassandra Jean.

"Arrow" Season 1 DVD Release: September 2013. Stephen Amell plays Oliver Queen aka vigilante Hood Guy in this series based on DC Comics' Green Arrow (The CW)

Great things are going on in Amell's life now. First, the Green Arrow-based series on The CW network was renewed for a second season. Second, his role as Oliver Queen continues to draw a significantly wider fan base ahead of the September 3 release of the 'Arrow' DVD. Third, Amell has just married the same woman twice in a very romantic show of love and happiness.

Fans extended the warmest congratulations and agree that Amell and Cassandra Jean make a lovely pair together. Who is Stephen Amell's wife, you might ask. Mrs Amell aka Cassandra Whitehead, is an American actress/model. She's also quite accustomed to donning crowns, being Miss Houston Teen USA 2003 and Miss Corpus Christi 2005. The couple married while on a holiday vacation in the Carribean late last year. But this weekend, reports indicate they were with family and friends.

Stephen's tweet this weekend just shows how fulfilled he is in his life now.

Earlier this month, Amell took to Facebook to announce he is not playing Christian Grey in the film adaptation of "Fifty Shades of Grey." The erotic series by E.L. James was already familiar to Amell as fans made him aware they wanted him for the Grey role. But he has never read the book, until recently.

"Was on a flight yesterday evening back to LA with no movie, so I grabbed 50 Shades of Grey and burned through it," Amell posted to his Facebook page. "Ummm... I hope they get the movie made, and I'm sure someone will be excellent in it. That person will not be me."

Amell's most recent pronouncements contrasted his previous stance on the FSOG film and the Grey role.

"I mean if you think about it, it would be four movies, the last part being two parts. I don't even own a house yet. So I don't think that I'd be turning that down any time soon," Amell told Wetpaint in an August interview.
