Prime director Steven Spielberg is the executive producer of the new and highly-anticipated sci-fi series "Terra Nova".

The new series is set on year 2149 and the Earth is on the brink of destruction due to overpopulation and the air is so hard to breathe. To prevent further destruction, humans are sent back 85 million years when scientists found a fracture space/time continuum. The new utopia is called Terra Nova.

Among the new arrivals are the Shannon family led by Jason O'Mara and our very own Shelley Conn of "Mistresses" fame. However, if you are intrigued about how one might go about setting up a new eco-friendly civilization in paradise from scratch, bad luck.

The Shannons arrived as part of the tenth pilgrimage and when they arrived, Terra Nova is a neatly landscaped and looked like a holiday resort.

Since people went back 85 million years ago, people are threatened by dinosaurs that are kept away by sky high fence. Another threat on the "Terra Nova" is the Sixers or the people who arrived on the 6th pilgrimage.

Catch the two-hour premiere episode of "Terra Nova" tonight on Sky 1, 8PM.
