The show must go on, they say. That's why Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler made sure he wouldn't be missing a thing when he tried to get back on stage Wednesday night.

He was brought to the hospital yesterday after smashing his face in the shower, causing cuts in his face and a few broken teeth. As a result, the band had cancel Tuesday's concert in order for him to recover.

The Paraguay leg of the tour would be the band's first performance in the region. The firm that organized it, Garzia Group, had their spokesman Marcelo Antunez declare the accident "minor". The show was postponed to Wednesday.

"Mr. Tyler had a small accident that prevents him from staging the concert tonight...he is fine, he's in his hotel but he's not able to do the concert," he said.

Nicolas Garzia, the firm's owner, mentioned that the "nasty fall" might be because of food poisoning and made the singer dehydrated and disoriented.

The 63-year-old is presently in good condition, all thanks to a Paraguayan dentist, Maria Bastos, who gave him two new teeth implants. She was interviewed by a local radio station earlier today and noted that Tyler is 'doing splendidly'.

In addition to this, he also had some stitches and other dental work done in his almost 4 hours of stay at the La Costa medical center, as stated in an official statement released by the institution.

The "American Idol" judge is currently staying at the Bourbon Hotel in the nation's capital, Asuncion.

This concert is part of Aerosmith's tour spanning Latin America and Japan, the Back on the Road tour. The band started Saturday in Lima, Peru, and will finish this Dec. 10 in Sapporo, Japan.

We're sure to hear a lot more about Tyler after as he graces the small screen once again. He has signed on for the second time around to sit by the roundtables of "American Idol," together with Randy Jackson and Jennifer Lopez. The eleventh season of the hit FOX reality series is expected to premiere this January.
